CONCLUSION

Before treating a patient with a dyslipaemia, it is indispensable to assess his global cardiovascular risk level because this level of risk allows the practitioner to define the normality value of the LDL-Cholesterol rate.

In the treatment of a dyslipaemia, the application of the hygiene-diet rules arequite justified because they are inexpensive, efficacious as for the LDL-Cholesterol decrease, and especially they go beyond the biologic results by allowing the patient to become aware of a life style to respect.

Finally, the currently available medicinal treatments permit to treat efficiently the majority of the patients with a dyslipaemia, provided that the therapeutic observance is appropriate.
