DEFINITION

This illness is defined as the occurrence of an intermittent tachycardia, provoked by an anomaly of the conduction of the nervous impulse in the heart.

It is a non-rare illness, which lately benefited from the therapeutic progresses. Indeed, its radical treatment currently rests on the ablation of the pathological conductive tissue localized in the heart responsible for this tachycardia.

Very frequently, the junctional tachycardia does not reveal another cardiac illness.
