WHAT CAN CAUSE YOUR CARDIAC PACEMAKER TO MALFUNCTION

Some interferences can cause the case of the cardiac pacemaker to malfunction:

The cell phones: Some studies demonstrated a possible interference with the cardiac pacemakers and therefore they must be placed at a distance from the case, if possible on the opposite ear.

The induction hotplatesgive out very numerous interferences against which there is noprotection. It is thus advised to standmore than two meters far from these hotplates.

Some electric toys conductors, such as the electric trains, are also responsible for interferences.

The airportssafetyporches can easily produce interferences; it is advised not to go through them.

The anti-theft porches of some shops are responsible for interferences; it is advised to go through this system as fast as possible.

The boats and aeronautic radars are also responsible for a malfunctioning of the cardiac stimulation case. Achieving a nuclear magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is contraindicated.
