The line of an electrocardiogram is achieved on 12 derivations, corresponding therefore to 12 electric recordings (lines) achieved on different standardized sites. You will find an example of electrocardiogram line below:
Electrocardiogram line. The P wave corresponds to the contraction of the atrium, the QRS waves correspond to the contraction of the ventricles and the T wave corresponds to the repolarization wave of the ventricles. These derivations permit to measure the electric activity of the heart muscle in all plans of the space.
